Why pick me?

For as long as I can remember I have been fascinated with human connection and passionate about capturing it.

Ask any of my friends - I was the girl who always brought a camera to every social event, even before I knew how to properly navigate my way around a DSLR. I’ve always been wildly sentimental and intentional about capturing moments as they happen that, when I look back at how mad about photography I've always been, it was almost inevitable that I was going to turn this incredible passion into a career one day.

The best way to describe me is an old soul in a modern world. I love old music, movies and interiors and often wonder whether I was born in the wrong era. It’s why I love photographs, because they become a significant part of history too.

I’m a heart-on-my-sleeve kind of girl who enjoys digging deep - I love late night conversations, laughing out loud with loved ones (you know, the kind of laughter that makes your sides hurt) and I’m the type of person who will cheer you on through all of life’s little endeavours.

The older I get the more I seem to love spending time outdoors and I’m known to chase a sunset or two, with ‘golden hour’ shots being amongst some of my favourites. (I mean.. is there anything more magical than that golden light, backlighting and seeping into your beautiful moments?) I really adore that my job allows me to combine two of my favourite things.. meeting new people and exploring beautiful places whilst encouraging others to truly appreciate these moments and places too.

The most prominent thing you’ll see throughout my work is that, above everything, I am a hopeless romantic. You’ll see it in the photos I take and you’ll feel it in the energy I bring to every wedding or shoot. I believe that life is beautiful and so it should be romanticised and celebrated as much as humanly possible. Whether you’re wanting me to capture your wedding, your family photos or you just want me to document you doing you, I promise to deliver you wonderfully intimate and dream-worthy keepsakes that reflect you and your loved ones honestly, whilst also leaving you swooning over your snapshots for years to come.

I want more people to realise the value behind a photograph as I believe they serve as a more permanent journey into our past and help us, and our loved ones, remember our memories much more vividly as the years go on. When the moments have passed it’s our photographs that we clutch onto to cherish and celebrate them. Photos only ever gain value over time - so whether it be a laughter, a dance, a stolen glance or the holding of a loved ones hand, I believe the simplest moments in life are filled with so much beauty and I consider it a joy to be able to document these moments - It’s all in the little details and believe me when I tell you, details are my thing.

My style is timeless and I use my knowledge of light, composition and human connection to help convey real, authentic feelings and emotion whilst also creating a warm and cherished experience for you too. No matter the occasion, I make it my job to help you feel entirely comfortable, encouraged and completely confident in the knowledge that I’ve got you because capturing your story is just as much a priority to me, as your need to tell it is.
